Since 2016
Two sisters, one narrow shop, a lot of opinions about fit.
How it started
Hannah worked retail buying for eleven years. Ruth taught third grade and hemmed everything she owned. In 2016 we split the rent on a 900-square-foot space on English Village Drive on the east side of Indianapolis, and filled it with the clothes we couldn't find anywhere in town.
The first month we sold nine things. Most of them to our mother.
Ten years later we still buy the floor ourselves, still write every product description at the kitchen table, and still measure garments with a tape before they go online.
Say the awkward part out loud
If a top runs short, if a print is see-through in sunlight, if the denim stretches a half size after an hour — it goes in the description.
Small runs, real scarcity
We buy 12–40 units of most prints and we don't reorder. It's why sizes go fast and why you won't match a stranger at the grocery store.
What we carry
About 60% apparel — tops, dresses, denim and shoulder-season layers, mostly in XS through 3XL. The rest is jewelry, hats, belts and small giftables that make a decent birthday present when you've forgotten a birthday.
Sizing, honestly
Our size chart is body measurements, not garment measurements. Each product page lists the height and size of the model wearing it. If you're between sizes we tell you which way to go, and if we get it wrong the exchange is on us.
Where your order comes from
The same room we photograph in. Orders before 2pm ET on a weekday go out the same afternoon, packed by whoever is closest to the tape gun.
